Hello and welcome! My name is Clara Luz Ponce. I am a designer and artist. A lot of my work is prompted by my interest in the intermingling of fantasy and the norms of life! Having come from a background of traditional and digital art, I learned a lot about the human experience and found the wonder in the mundaneness of the every day. Wanting to create work that inspires and helps people in their daily lives, I found the world of design and attended The Michael Graves College at Kean University in which I double majored in Industrial Design and Interior Design. While in school, I had the pleasure of working alongside people in the illustration, scenic design, toy design, interior design, and architectural industries. Now that I am out of school, I still aspire to find the beauty in the every day. When I am not out leaving sketches on napkins or painting at a park, I can be found working in the pet toy industry as an Industrial Designer.
